Beeatch = NO CLASS

Ok... on my way to work this morning I was confronted with 2 separate incidents involving BEEEATCHES!!!!

First, as I was cruising down a neighborhood road... going to speed limit, a women comes flying up on my bumper on her cell phone. She was so close I could see her lips moving. I guess she had enough, whipped her car into the center lane like Jeff Gordan would do trying to pass Tony Stewart at Lowes Motor speedway and gunned her little Ford Escape on by me. She probably hit 55 mph in performing this def move. She came close to rubbing me on her way back over so I gave her a congratulatory honk, in which she (I'm sure respectfully) saluted me with her middle finger. She sped on into the distance and out of sight.

Second, upon arrival at work, I was greeted with a bitter "one-sided" discussion. Ok... it wasn't really a discussion; a discussion must consist of at least 2 people actively communicating. I was being advised I was going to be handed very piece of service work that comes in to our office for my clients. Now, I don't mind this... but it was the way it was presented to me. I'm not surprised it was presented in the manner in which it was presented either. There is such a thing called professionalism, but I guess it doesn't apply to some people in the workplace.

Ironically.... I laughed at both incidents.

Lizard-lips.... eeerrrrr tougue

I am still undecided as far as who I am going to vote for... but I am finding it harder and harder to side with a man who has a lizard tougue. Oh, by the way... don't talk to me about "Joe the Plumber", talk to me about "Charles the insurance agent".

U-Turn...

So.... FSU comes to Raleigh Thursday night for a prime time game on ESPN. This is State's second Thursday night game this season (the first was at South Carolina). State has actually faired well in these games, having played FSU 3 times and winning 2 of them. This is a huge game for State. They have had 11 days between their last game and this one. Last year, Tom O'Brien used time off to reevaluate every facet of the program and turned a 1-5 start into 4 straight wins over nationally ranked Virginia, Miami, ECU and UNC. State's 6 remaining games include 4 teams currently ranked in the top 25. Can the same thing happen this year? We shall see...

News of the stupid

Sorry... this beats all.

I was eating some lunch at my desk and as I often times do during my lunch minute, scolling through the news outlets on the internet. As I was scrolling through one of the more popular websites... ok, it was CNN, I ran across this headline, " Clint Eastwood calls Angelina gorgeous". Laughing, I clicked on the link and it pulled up an artice about this. Someone actually wrote... AND GOT PAID, I might add... an article about this. Who really gives a damn???

This is exhibit A as to why the media in this country is at an all time low.

Pump up the gas

Quick thought here... wouldn't it make sense to have backup oil refineries strategically placed so when we do have another hurricane come through we aren't faced with this ridiculous shortage? And another thing... how long did we know this hurricane was going to roll through the Gulf? God forbid our country be pro-active on something!

The Great Debate...

Is anyone excited about the VP debate tonight? I can't stand politics and try to stay as far away as possible from it at all times. But tonight sort of has me intrigued. Maybe it is because Palin is a lot easier on the eyes then anyone in the history of Presidential or Vice Presidential debates! Maybe it is because I know NOTHING about her other then she is the Governor of Alaska and her daughter is pregnant. Now that I think about it... I know less about Joe Biden... so maybe that is why. Since this is only VP debate, shouldn't it be longer then 2 hours? How in the world can we all be expected to make an informed decision in 2 hours?? Typcial politics!
